From September 22 to 25, the Vacimóvel mobile vaccination unit in Poços de Caldas continues the first stage of a special schedule for public employees in the municipal Education network. According to City Hall, under this strategy the service is exclusively for employees of the units included in the schedule. It is therefore not a walk-in service for residents in general. The program began on September 21 at Colégio Municipal Dr. José Vargas de Souza and, from September 22 onward, continues with five stops over four days.

Who can use this special schedule
The scope of this first stage is specific: public employees of the listed school units. The Municipal Health Department states that, under this strategy, Vacimóvel service is exclusive to employees of the units named in the schedule. The vehicle's presence at a school therefore does not mean the service is open to students, family members, nearby residents, or any municipal employee outside the units included.
For people who work at one of the schools on the schedule, the main point is to check the date and the period when the team will be on site. On September 22, 23 and 24, service runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On September 25, the vehicle splits the day between two schools.
What the team will do at the schools
According to City Hall, health professionals may review each employee's vaccination status, provide guidance on indicated vaccines and, when recommended, update the vaccination record in line with current technical standards. The purpose of the schedule is to bring the Immunization team closer to the workplace and make access easier for the employees covered.
This service should be understood as a workplace vaccination logistics initiative. Which vaccines are indicated depends on the team's assessment and the technical rules that apply to each person.
How September 25 is organized
On Friday, September 25, there are two stops and the hours do not overlap. In the morning, Vacimóvel will be at Escola Municipal Presidente Washington Luís from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The team then moves to Escola Municipal Sérgio de Freitas Pacheco, where service runs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Employees at these units should check the correct time slot before seeking the service.
What happens after this first week
The Municipal Health Department said Vacimóvel will become a continuing part of the city's immunization strategies and that new actions will be scheduled at other locations. The next dates and units have not yet been announced and will be published through official City Hall channels. This schedule should therefore be used only for the first stage, from September 21 to 25, with the remaining stops detailed above.
