Anyone who saw the first announcement for São Paulo's 2026 Mobility Week may notice an important difference in the latest schedule. The City of São Paulo published on September 15 that the EscapeBus would visit seven points in the city, but the municipal list itself contained eight dates, with the locations for September 21 and 24 still to be defined. The updated Fundación MAPFRE page, from the organization responsible for the activity, now fills those two gaps and lists eight stops from September 18 through 25.
In practice, the bus is scheduled for one stop each day, always from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Participation is free, each session lasts about 10 minutes, and the experience uses puzzles and quick decisions to discuss road safety, especially risks related to speed. The City says groups have 4 to 10 people per session, while the organizer's page highlights teams of up to 10 participants and says the activity is for all ages.
Updated EscapeBus schedule in São Paulo
The table below organizes the latest schedule published by Fundación MAPFRE. Because the municipal announcement still keeps the reference to seven points, it is best to use the organizer's schedule as the final check before leaving home.

How to register
There are two ways to participate. The more predictable option is advance booking: on the Fundación MAPFRE page, choose the date and use the booking button, which directs visitors to the Escape 60' scheduling system. The other option is to go to the day's location and check whether spots are still available.
- Check the date and address that best fit your route.
- Open the official campaign page and access the booking system.
- Choose an available time slot.
- Keep the booking confirmation for easier check-in at the location.
- If you prefer to go without a reservation, remember that walk-in participation depends on remaining capacity.
The organizer says sessions are subject to availability. For that reason, people who need a specific time slot are likely to benefit from booking in advance.
How the experience works
EscapeBus turns a customized bus into an educational escape game. For about 10 minutes, the group faces puzzles and situations inspired by urban traffic and needs to make decisions as a team. The goal is not to reproduce a classroom lesson, but to use time pressure and collaboration to encourage reflection on everyday behavior.
The activity focuses on road safety, especially speed and choices that affect drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians. Fundación MAPFRE describes the experience as suitable for all ages. For groups with children, it is useful to remember that the format involves reading clues, joint reasoning and quick decisions.
Which stop makes the most sense for you
Because every day has the same official time window, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., the choice can be based mainly on location and the type of area. Parque da Juventude and CERET may suit people who want to combine the activity with time in a park. Casa das Rosas is convenient for those already on the Paulista Avenue corridor. Vila Olímpia and Nações Unidas are in areas with heavy commercial and business circulation. Tatuapé has two dates, September 20 and 23, at different venues. Pacaembu joins the schedule on September 24, and the final stop is in Pinheiros at the Escape 60' unit.
Choosing by location can reduce unnecessary travel. Even so, the best time depends on the slots available in the online system or at the site.
Why the list changed from seven to eight stops
The City and CET material was published with a seven-point headline, but its own schedule already covered eight dates from September 18 through 25. In that version, September 21 and 24 were listed as locations still to be defined. The Fundación MAPFRE page, checked later, lists Avenida das Nações Unidas for September 21 and Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu for September 24. The latest operational schedule therefore totals eight stops.
Because this is an itinerant activity, changes may still occur. Before leaving, check the official Fundación MAPFRE schedule, especially if your visit depends on a tight timetable.
