2027 school tuition in Aracaju: how to compare the 10 schools in the Procon survey

Procon Aracaju's official survey covers 10 schools. Learn how to compare prices by grade and shift, understand the spread, and spot costs that are not included in the table.

Responsável e estudante analisam em um tablet um comparativo de mensalidades diante de escolas e da paisagem urbana de Aracaju.

Procon Aracaju's survey of school tuition for 2027 was carried out on September 8 and 9, 2026, using prices reported by 10 private schools in the city. The most important rule for reading the table is simple: do not compare the overall lowest and highest figures as if they were the same offer. The R$ 957.00 minimum is for the 1st year of Ensino Fundamental, morning shift, at Colégio Michelangelo; the R$ 5,760.00 maximum is for the 6th and 7th years of Ensino Fundamental, full-time, at Colégio Master. They are different grades, shifts and formats.

For Ensino Médio, where the survey lists only morning-shift prices, the range runs from R$ 1,650.00 to R$ 4,539.00. The correct approach is therefore to compare the same education stage, the same grade and the same shift first, and only then assess differences in program, location and costs not covered by the survey.

What the survey measures — and what it does not

  • The prices refer to the 2027 school year and were collected on September 8 and 9, 2026.
  • The *** symbol means that the product or format was not available at that school when the survey was conducted.
  • The listed prices do not include modules from the schools' respective teaching systems.
  • Schools may run different promotional campaigns; Procon advises families to confirm current terms directly with each institution.
  • At Colégio Master and Colégio Amadeus, the full-time format reported in the survey does not include lunch.
  • At Colégio do Salvador, the prices for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of the lower Ensino Fundamental segment refer to the bilingual format; later grades refer to the regular format.

These notes prevent a quick “cheapest school” or “most expensive school” conclusion based on a single column. Even when grade and shift match, differences in program, meals, materials and promotions may remain.

How to compare without mixing stage, shift or school

  1. Fix the grade. Compare 1st year with 1st year, or 6th year with 6th year.
  2. Fix the shift. Morning and full-time programs should not be placed in the same price band.
  3. Check availability. A *** field is not a zero price; it means the format was unavailable in the survey sample.
  4. Read the table notes. Colégio do Salvador's bilingual format and the absence of lunch in Master and Amadeus full-time programs change how the figures should be interpreted.
  5. Add what is not included. Before deciding, ask the school about modules, materials, meals, extra activities and any other applicable services.

For an easier first pass, this view uses three comparable morning-shift checkpoints: the 1st year of Ensino Fundamental, the 6th year of Ensino Fundamental and the 1st year of Ensino Médio. It does not replace the complete table because prices vary in other grades.

What to ask the school before enrolling

  • What is the total contract amount for 2027, and how is it divided into payments?
  • Are enrollment, teaching-system modules, learning materials or digital platforms charged separately?
  • For full-time study, are meals included? The survey specifically states that lunch is not part of the surveyed service at Master and Amadeus.
  • Which discounts and promotional campaigns are currently available, and for how long?
  • Do extracurricular activities, transportation, uniforms or other services create additional charges?
  • Does the quoted price match the exact grade, shift and educational format the family wants?

This checklist matters because the Procon survey is a price reference at the time of collection, not a quality ranking and not a complete calculation of each school's annual cost.

How to use the survey in practice

A practical way to build a shortlist is to start with the student's grade and required shift, remove the options marked ***, compare the remaining prices, and then add the costs that do not appear in the table. Next, consider distance, commuting routine and educational proposal. This way, the survey narrows the field without turning a tuition difference into an automatic conclusion about value for money.
