Campeonato Brasileiro de Ciclismo, Santa Maria, from 5:30 a.m.
The race uses Silvério Leite Fontes, Dep. Reinaldo Moura and Padre Arnóbio Patrício avenues. The traffic operation includes temporary closures on these roads while the event is taking place.
As an alternative, SMTT recommends Alexandre Alcino and Jornalista Juarez Conrado Dantas avenues.
Feira Centro Vivo, Centro, from 4 p.m.
Pacatuba Street will be closed between Travessa José de Faro and Maruim Street for event setup. Maruim Street will also be blocked at its intersection with Pacatuba Street.

Saturday, September 19
Campeonato Brasileiro de Ciclismo, Santa Maria, from 5:30 a.m.
The same traffic plan returns on Saturday on Silvério Leite Fontes, Dep. Reinaldo Moura and Padre Arnóbio Patrício avenues. To bypass the race area, drivers are directed to Alexandre Alcino and Jornalista Juarez Conrado Dantas avenues.
6º Desfile Cívico da Coroa do Meio, from 2 p.m.
The parade will travel through a series of roads in Coroa do Meio: Urbano Neto Street, Desembargador José Antônio de Andrade Góis Avenue, Travessa José Rosendo, Marcelo Déda Street, Waldemar Silva Carvalho Street, Renato Fonseca Street, Jugurta Feitosa Street, Street 5, Street 4 and Genival Maciel Street.
Santos Dumont Avenue is the alternative route suggested by SMTT for drivers who need to bypass the area during the parade.
Corrida We Can Run, Farolândia, from 4 p.m.
The race starts at Praça Marcelo Déda in Central Garden. The route continues to Beira Mar Avenue, turns right southbound against the usual traffic direction until the intersection with José Carlos Silva Avenue, and then returns northbound.
To avoid the race route, SMTT recommends Etelvino Alves de Lima and Josino José de Almeida avenues.
Sunday, September 20
Campeonato Brasileiro de Ciclismo, Santa Maria, from 5:30 a.m.
On the third day of the event, Silvério Leite Fontes, Dep. Reinaldo Moura and Padre Arnóbio Patrício avenues remain the affected roads. The official alternatives continue to be Alexandre Alcino and Jornalista Juarez Conrado Dantas avenues.
Bloco Filhos de Maria, Atalaia, from 4 p.m.
The temporary closure will cover the section from the Arcos da Orla to the event square. The official detour guidance is to use the internal streets of the neighborhood.
How to plan your trip
- Treat the time published by SMTT as the start of the traffic operation, not as a predicted reopening time.
- If your destination is outside the event area, take the official alternative routes before reaching the closure point.
- In Santa Maria, the Campeonato Brasileiro de Ciclismo affects the same group of avenues on all three days, always from 5:30 a.m.
- On Saturday afternoon, Coroa do Meio and Farolândia will have separate operations starting at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- In Atalaia, Sunday's closure is concentrated between the Arcos da Orla and the event square.
