Applications for Vale Real/RS Public Competition No. 001/2026 open at 1:00 p.m. on September 16, 2026 and close at 1:00 p.m. on October 16, 2026, Brasília time. The notice offers 27 immediate openings, plus a reserve list, across 10 positions. Appointments will be governed by the municipal statutory regime, and the selection process is being run by Instituto Objetiva.
Before choosing a position, the key step is to check the education requirement and every other condition required at the time of appointment. Some positions require only a given education level; others also require a minimum age, professional registration or a Brazilian driver’s license (CNH). The notice itself also recommends reading the legal duties for each position in Annex I.

The organizer’s page lists application fees of R$ 100.05 or R$ 157.57, depending on the position. Because the schedule may be changed through an official publication, applicants should check the organizer’s “Publicações” section before completing the application. On September 15, 2026, that section also began listing Notice No. 001-A/2026, concerning the closing of the challenge period and related provisions.
Applicants who need a computer and internet access may use the in-person station identified in the notice at Vale Real City Hall reception, Rua Rio Branco, 659, Vila Nova neighborhood, on business days during the application period from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Even at that station, the applicant remains responsible for entering information and uploading files.
What the statutory regime means in this competition
The notice states that the positions will be filled under the municipal statutory regime. If a candidate is appointed and takes office, the employment relationship is governed by Vale Real’s public-servant statute and other applicable municipal laws, rather than by a temporary contract used in a simplified selection process.
The notice specifically cites Municipal Law No. 676/2005, which governs the legal regime of municipal public servants. Immediate openings are to be filled during the validity of the competition according to service needs and budget availability; other successful candidates form a reserve list and may be called if openings arise.

Three points to check before choosing a position
Minimum age, CNH and professional registration
The general rule in the notice is a minimum age of 18 at the time of appointment, but Municipal Revenue Tax Auditor, Accountant and Driver specifically require candidates to be at least 21. The Auditor position requires at least a category B CNH, while Driver requires at least category D. The Accountant position expressly requires CRC registration; for the Auditor position, the notice requires registration with the professional council related to the candidate’s degree when a regulatory body exists.
Education requirement is not the same as exam content
Education defines eligibility for appointment. The subjects tested in the selection process are set out elsewhere in the notice and its annexes. Two positions with similar education requirements may therefore have different syllabuses and assessment stages.
Read the legal duties in Annex I
The notice tells candidates to review each position’s duties in Annex I. This matters because actual work may include public service, overtime, weekend or holiday work, night work, shifts, uniforms or personal protective equipment, and travel, depending on the position and service needs.
Stages: objective test for all candidates and specific stages for some positions
The eliminatory and classificatory objective test is scheduled for December 13, 2026 for all candidates whose applications are approved. The notice also provides for:
- practical tests for Cleaning Assistant, School Cook, Driver and General Laborer;
- credential evaluation, for classification purposes, for Area I Teacher: Early Childhood Education and Initial Years.
Under the opening schedule, final confirmation of applications and the call for the objective test are scheduled for November 27, 2026. The schedule is indicative and may be changed by official publication, so monitoring both City Hall and the organizer is part of the application process.
Checklist before starting the application
- Choose the position based on appointment rules: confirm education, minimum age, professional qualification and CNH when required.
- Read the duties in Annex I: do not decide based only on the position title.
- Check the fee and any waiver: the organizer provides the form, bank slip and document instructions.
- Complete the application before 1:00 p.m. on October 16: the application request closes at that time; the bank slip is also due that day within banking hours.
- Monitor new publications: notices, announcements, application confirmations, test locations and any changes should be checked through the official channels.
Where to check the official notice and requirements
Use both official channels together. Vale Real City Hall maintains the institutional competition page, while Instituto Objetiva maintains the operational page with applications, publications and fees.
- Vale Real City Hall — Public Competition No. 001/2026
- Instituto Objetiva — Vale Real/RS competition page
- Opening Notice No. 001/2026 in PDF
To choose a position safely, the final reference should always be the current version of the notice and any later publications issued by the organizer. Summaries are useful for comparing opportunities, but they do not replace the complete rules on application, appointment, documents and assessment.
