Applications for the 2027 intake of the Professional Master’s in Memory and Collections at Brazil’s Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa (FCRB) are open from 8 September to 5 October 2026. Applicants must first submit the Vacancy Selection Form and then complete registration in the program’s Átrio+ platform, including the required information and documents. Selection has three eliminatory stages, and the final result is scheduled for 11 December 2026.
How to apply
- Open the official Vacancy Selection Form, choose the intended vacancy and submit the form.
- Next, use the Átrio+ platform link on the official selection page, enter the requested information and upload the documentation required by Notice No. 1/2026.
- Check that both steps were completed within the application period. Submitting only the first form does not complete registration.
The deadline to request an application-fee waiver was 21 September. The schedule sets the final waiver decision for 28 September. Consult the complete notice linked on the official page for the fee amount, eligibility, vacancies, required documents, assessment criteria and appeal rules. The application fee is distinct from tuition: FCRB states that the course is tuition-free but the selection process has an application fee.
What are the three selection stages?
- Stage one: assessment of the preliminary research proposal, beginning on 16 October, with results scheduled for 26 October.
- Stage two: a written examination in Memory and Collections on 9 November.
- Stage three: interview and oral examination of the proposal, together with review of the applicant’s Lattes CV, from 25 to 27 November.
All three stages are eliminatory. Applicants therefore need to follow stage results and appeal deadlines; completing one test does not mean admission to the program.

What to check before submitting
Read Notice No. 1/2026, confirm the research track and vacancy in the form, prepare the proposal and required files, check your information in Átrio+ and retain proof of both submissions. PPGMA describes the degree as an in-person program with evening classes. The program has one area of concentration and two research tracks; the proposal must fit the requirements in the notice and the intake form.
