Ibiraçu City Hall, in Espírito Santo, published Simplified Selection Process Notice No. 014/2026 on September 16, 2026, to meet temporary staffing needs in the Municipal Education Department. The notice includes 10 immediate openings plus a reserve list, with roles requiring elementary, secondary, technical or higher education. Applications are scheduled for September 23 through September 30, 2026, through the Education SISP platform, and the notice states that only one application per CPF will be accepted for all roles. That makes choosing the position an important step before submitting the form.

The key point is straightforward: candidates seeking an immediate opening should first look at Nursery Assistant, Student Support Caregiver, School Service Worker and School Secretary. Teaching positions and several other support roles are mainly reserve-list opportunities. There is no written or practical test. The process combines verification of eligibility requirements, which is eliminatory, with scoring of professional experience and qualifications, which is classificatory.

Which roles account for the 10 immediate openings

The ten announced openings are not spread across every position. According to the notice, the immediate vacancies are concentrated in four role groups. The remaining positions form a reserve list.

The immediate openings total 10: three for Nursery Assistant, two for Student Support Caregiver, three for School Service Worker and two for School Secretary. When choosing, compare not only pay but also the additional training required. School Service Worker has the most direct schooling requirement among the roles with immediate openings. Nursery Assistant, Caregiver and School Secretary require specific courses that must be documented.

Which roles are reserve-list only

The notice also creates reserve lists for several functions. Teaching opportunities include MAPP Pedagogical Support Teacher, MAPA common-core teacher for early elementary grades and early childhood education, MAPB Physical Education, Art and Information Technology teachers, and several Specialized Educational Assistance profiles, including intellectual disability, giftedness, hearing impairment and visual impairment. Some teaching options are tied to rural schools, such as EMEIEF Vereador Leandro Zinger.

Support roles with reserve lists also include School Transportation Monitor, Multi-Service Assistant, Light Vehicle Driver and Heavy Vehicle Driver. The notice separates some options by work site or by urban and rural placement, so candidates should confirm the exact option selected in the system.

How to compare roles before using your single application

Item 4.15 of the notice says that only one application per CPF will be accepted across all positions. In practice, candidates should choose the role for which they can fully prove eligibility and for which their experience and qualification documents are most likely to support a stronger classification score.

If your priority is an immediate opening

Start with the four groups that have immediate vacancies. If you have only completed elementary education, School Service Worker has the simplest formal requirement. If you completed secondary school and already hold specific training in childcare, Nursery Assistant or Student Support Caregiver may fit. School Secretary is more restrictive because the notice requires both computing training and a specific school-secretary course.

If you are a teacher

Teaching positions are reserve-list roles, but they carry the highest pay scale and a 25-hour weekly workload. Your choice should match your teaching degree, experience and any additional courses required for the specialty. Pedagogical Support, for example, requires Pedagogy with teaching experience and a qualifying specialization or credential, or another teaching degree with a longer teaching-experience requirement. Specialized Educational Assistance roles change their additional requirements according to the population served.

If you have experience but few additional courses

Professional experience can contribute up to 20 points, but it does not replace the 80 points available for qualifications. For all education levels, the notice awards 1 point for each complete month of experience in the position applied for, up to 20 months, considering months from January 1, 2022 onward. For MAPA Early Childhood Education and Early Elementary positions, the documentation must clearly identify the education stage in which the work was performed.

How credential scoring works

The maximum score is 100 points. Professional experience is worth up to 20 points and professional qualifications are worth up to 80. The qualification criteria change according to the education level of the position.

Role education levelHigher-value qualification itemsQualification maximum
ElementaryCompleted secondary education: 25 points; in-service training of at least 40h from 2022: 25; continuing education of at least 30h: 15; role-specific course of 10 to 20h: 10; first aid: 580 points
SecondaryDegree in education: 25 points; in-service training of at least 40h: 20; continuing education in education of at least 30h: 10; up to two role-specific courses of 10 to 20h: up to 20; first aid: 580 points
Teacher or higher educationDoctorate: 18 points; master's: 16; specialization: 14; field training of at least 40h from 2024: 13; up to two public-sector field courses of at least 20h from 2023: up to 14; first aid: 580 points

Credentials must meet the conditions in the notice, including subject area, course length, completion date and issuing institution. A course required simply to qualify for a role should not automatically be assumed to count as an extra scoring credential. The notice also provides specific documentation rules for certificates, diplomas and declarations, especially for postgraduate specialization, master's and doctoral degrees.

Document checklist: what to organize before applying

The notice says that documents do not need to be uploaded during the online application. Even so, organizing them before submitting the form is useful because the declared information will later have to be proved and the notice restricts changes after the application has been completed.

  • Official photo identification.
  • PIS/PASEP number.
  • Diploma and academic transcript, or an accepted completion declaration.
  • Certificates for courses required as role prerequisites.
  • Professional council registration and proof of good standing, when applicable.
  • Proof of professional experience clearly showing the role and period worked.
  • Certificates or diplomas used for qualification scoring.
  • Correctly completed application form and application receipt.
  • For drivers and transportation monitors, the specific licensing, authorization and record documents required for the role.

At the hiring call, candidates must present originals and copies to prove identity, schooling, prerequisites, experience and qualifications. Failure to provide the originals required by the notice may eliminate the candidate.

Before submitting: a practical way to decide

  1. Remove any role for which you cannot prove every prerequisite.
  2. Separate positions with immediate openings from those that only offer a reserve list.
  3. Compare workload and pay, remembering that teacher compensation depends on academic qualification.
  4. Estimate your valid professional experience, up to the 20-point limit.
  5. Estimate only the credentials that actually fit the qualification table for your role level.
  6. Check that your documents clearly show job function, work period, subject area and course hours.
  7. Because the rule is one application per CPF, review the role choice and all entered data before submitting.

The notice is broad, but the decision can be reduced to three questions: do you fully meet the role's eligibility requirements, is there an immediate opening or only a reserve list, and can your documentation support a strong score in experience and qualifications? That comparison helps prevent choosing a position only for its pay range while overlooking a specific requirement that would make the application invalid.
