UFC 334 is scheduled for November 14, 2026 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with two championship fights at the top of the event. UFC announced Ciryl Gane vs Josh Hokit for the heavyweight title and Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes for the women's bantamweight championship. The announcement was made during the UFC 331 broadcast and published by UFC on September 20.
UFC 334: date, venue and title fights
| Item | Confirmed for UFC 334 |
|---|---|
| Date | November 14, 2026 |
| Venue | Madison Square Garden, New York City, United States |
| Main event | Ciryl Gane vs Josh Hokit, heavyweight championship |
| Co-main event | Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes, women's bantamweight championship |
The official UFC announcement confirms the date, Madison Square Garden and both title fights. UFC identifies Gane as the undisputed heavyweight champion and Harrison as the women's bantamweight champion.
How Ciryl Gane vs Josh Hokit came together
The heavyweight title picture changed shortly before UFC 334 was announced. Tom Aspinall vacated the championship while continuing to recover from eye problems. With the belt vacant, UFC moved to recognize Ciryl Gane as the undisputed champion.
Gane had won the interim title on June 14 at UFC Freedom 250 by stopping Alex Pereira in the second round. The official UFC Freedom 250 results record Gane's TKO win at 1:27 of Round 2.
Josh Hokit reaches the title fight after a remarkably fast rise. He earned a UFC contract through Dana White's Contender Series in August 2025 and then defeated Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision at UFC 327. The UFC result for the Blaydes fight lists scores of 29-28, 29-28 and 29-28. Hokit then stopped Derrick Lewis by TKO in the second round at UFC Freedom 250.
That sequence explains the main event: Gane enters as the undisputed champion after Aspinall's departure from the title picture, while the unbeaten Hokit arrives with consecutive wins over two experienced heavyweight contenders.
Why Kayla Harrison vs Amanda Nunes was rescheduled
Kayla Harrison won the women's bantamweight title by submitting Julianna Peña with a second-round kimura at UFC 316 in June 2025. Her fight with Amanda Nunes was then booked for UFC 324 in January 2026, but the bout was removed because of an injury to Harrison.
The official UFC 324 update stated that the championship fight had been postponed. UFC later reported that Harrison had undergone surgery and that the matchup would be rebooked only after the champion had recovered.
Harrison will now make her first title defense against Nunes. The Brazilian returns to competition after announcing her retirement in June 2023 following her win over Irene Aldana at UFC 289. UFC revisited that retirement in its feature on Nunes' career farewell. Harrison and Nunes are also former American Top Team training partners, adding history to a fight that is, first and foremost, an official defense of Harrison's title.

What is locked in and what can still change
- Officially confirmed: UFC 334 takes place November 14 at Madison Square Garden, topped by Gane vs Hokit and Harrison vs Nunes for championships.
- Champion status: UFC presents Gane as the undisputed heavyweight champion after Aspinall vacated the belt; Harrison enters her first defense of the women's bantamweight title.
- Rest of the card: the additional matchups reflect the lineup reported on September 20, but they can change before fight week.
- Best source for updates: the official UFC 334 event page is the most direct place to track fight changes, start times and bout order as the event gets closer.
What to watch between now and November
The main item to monitor is card stability. UFC has set the two championship fights that lead the event, but bout order and matchups below the top can change. At heavyweight, UFC 334 will be Gane's first defense as undisputed champion against an unbeaten challenger on a rapid rise. At women's bantamweight, it will be Harrison's first title defense and Nunes' first fight since 2023.
