Raul Rosas Jr. vs. Raoni Barcelos headlines the event

Rosas Jr. and Barcelos are both making their first UFC main event appearances. The bantamweight bout is scheduled for five rounds. UFC notes that both fighters enter on five-fight winning streaks, but at very different stages of their careers: Rosas Jr., 21, becomes the youngest athlete to headline a UFC event, while the 39-year-old Barcelos reaches his first main event after a strong run of results in the division.

The matchup is expected to draw particular attention to the grappling exchanges. Rosas Jr. has built much of his game around takedowns and control, while Barcelos brings experience, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and strong takedown defense. That does not determine the outcome, but it explains why the technical matchup is one of the event's main storylines.
