Anyone planning to fit a parade into a trip to Oktoberfest Blumenau 2026 needs to look beyond the festival date: there are morning, afternoon and evening start times, an extra parade on October 12, and a separate program in Vila Itoupava. The current Oktoberfest Blumenau Parades page lists eight parades between October 7 and 24.

All 8 Oktoberfest Blumenau 2026 parade dates and times

The schedule below follows the official Parades page consulted in September 2026. On that page, seven parades are tied to the traditional Rua XV de Novembro program and one is identified as the Vila Itoupava parade.

The parades are free and open to the public. Organizers also state that Rua XV is closed to vehicles in advance on parade days, although the page consulted does not give the exact closure time for each date.

What changes with the extra October 12 parade

What makes October 12 different is the combination of an additional date and a morning start. The announcement that introduced the 2026 calendar said this addition raised the total to eight official parades. In the current schedule, it appears at 10:00 a.m. on a Monday and is labeled as a “morning parade.”

For visitors planning the day around Parque Vila Germânica, that creates a different sequence from the Saturday or Wednesday parades: the festival's general schedule says the pavilions open at 11:00 a.m. on Mondays. That makes it possible to plan the morning parade first and then head to the festival, allowing time for travel and possible road closures.

Important: two official pages disagree about Vila Itoupava

There is a relevant inconsistency worth checking close to your trip. The current Parades page lists Vila Itoupava on October 11 at 10:30 a.m. However, the Blumenau City Hall news release published on June 23, 2026 still lists October 18 at 10:00 a.m.

Because the dedicated Parades page presents the event's current schedule, this table uses October 11 at 10:30 a.m. as the operational reference. Even so, anyone traveling specifically to Vila Itoupava should reconfirm the date through an official channel before leaving, because the two official sources remain inconsistent.

Which parade fits each type of itinerary best

  • To start the trip with opening night: October 7 at 7:00 p.m. The first day of Oktoberfest is generally scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
  • For a more flexible Saturday: October 10, 17 or 24 at 4:00 p.m. On Saturdays, the pavilions are listed as open from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
  • For a morning parade: October 11 in Vila Itoupava, according to the current page, or October 12 at 10:00 a.m. on Rua XV. The latter is the extra parade confirmed for 2026.
  • To combine downtown and the festival at night: October 14 or 21 at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesdays, the festival's general hours are 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

General pavilion hours are available on the official Oktoberfest Blumenau program page. They are useful for planning the day, but they do not replace specific traffic notices, schedule changes or instructions published close to each parade.

The key decision

If the priority is to see a parade without turning the itinerary into a race against the clock, choose the time of day first: 10:00/10:30 a.m. for a dedicated morning, 4:00 p.m. for Saturday, or 7:00/7:30 p.m. for an evening experience. The October 12 extra parade is the calendar's main addition, while Vila Itoupava requires extra attention because of the discrepancy between the two official pages.
