The 8th Fórum & Festival Longevidade 2026 takes place September 24–26 at the Pavilhão da Bienal in Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo. Admission is free, but that does not mean unrestricted access to every activity: organizers state that arenas, plenary sessions and experiences may have limited capacity. The best strategy is therefore to register in advance and arrive with clear priorities.

How free admission works

General registration is free and provides access to the event, the three themed arenas, talks and content, the initiatives and experiences fair, and activities in the park and under the marquee. Registration is completed through the official event website.

One important detail: you do not need to choose talks when completing general registration. According to the official FAQ, registration grants entry to the festival, while specific sessions and experiences may operate on a first-come, first-served basis, always subject to each space’s capacity.

What “limited spots” means for arenas and experiences

“Free admission” and “a guaranteed seat at any activity” are not the same thing. Organizers warn that arenas, plenary sessions and experiences may reach capacity. In practical terms, a registered visitor may enter the festival but still be unable to join a specific activity if that space is already full.

  • Complete general registration before the event. This reduces the risk of relying on last-minute registration.
  • Choose priority activities. For highly sought-after sessions, plan to arrive at the space early.
  • Keep a second option. Because several areas operate at the same time, it helps to have nearby alternatives in the same time slot.
  • Check the official schedule on the day. Times, space allocation and operational details may be updated.

The three themed arenas

The official website organizes the main content into three arenas. They help visitors decide where to focus their time according to their interests:

  • Cultura & Curso de Vida: stories, knowledge, culture and purpose throughout the life course.
  • Cidades & Cuidados: topics related to health, balance, vitality, care and life in urban environments.
  • Inovação & Finanças: technologies, solutions and financial topics connected to the future of the silver economy.

For the times and speakers of each session, check the official program closer to your visit. Organizers themselves note that the experience map is illustrative and may change.

Beyond the arenas: what the festival plans to offer

The event layout extends beyond the main stages. Inside the Pavilhão da Bienal, organizers list three major plenary spaces, six “Pontos de Longevidade” for workshops and participatory experiences, two technological-artistic immersions or installations, two showcases for emerging initiatives, a multigenerational lounge, and brand and service stands related to longevity.

Outdoors, the plan includes food and credentialing areas, the Feira #Longeva fair, a wellness space, participatory activities, open-air cinema, live shows, sports activities and artistic interventions. These options can serve as useful backups when an indoor session is full.

How to plan the three days without mistaking advice for the official schedule

The festival runs for three days, but the division below is an editorial visit suggestion, not an official allocation of themes by date.

September 24: learn the layout and test your pace

On the first day, arrive early, identify the three arenas, plenary spaces and outdoor areas, and understand the walking time between the places that interest you most. If one session is essential, make it your priority and use open experiences as alternatives.

September 25: focus on the most competitive activities

Once you understand how the venue works, use the second day for content that may require more advance arrival. Avoid planning a sequence with no buffer: lines, walking and capacity limits can consume the time between activities.

September 26: catch what you missed

The final day can be a window for experiences you could not fit in earlier, while also leaving more time for the fair, outdoor spaces and activations. Before leaving home, confirm that day’s program through the official channel.

Accessibility and visiting with family

The event FAQ says the structure was designed to welcome people with disabilities and recommends checking the program for specific resources such as Brazilian Sign Language interpretation, reserved areas and credentialing assistance. Organizers also describe the festival as multigenerational and open to people of different ages, including families.

Anyone who depends on a specific accessibility resource should confirm its availability for the chosen activity, because general physical accessibility does not mean every resource will be available in every session.

Checklist before heading to Ibirapuera

  • Complete free registration on the official website.
  • Save or keep access to the registration confirmation/account.
  • Check the updated program and select priorities.
  • Arrive early for activities more likely to reach capacity.
  • Choose a backup activity for each important time slot.
  • Confirm specific accessibility resources if needed.
  • Review access guidance for the Pavilhão da Bienal and Ibirapuera Park on the day of your visit.

What to check closer to the event

Because the event will take place September 24–26, 2026, operational details may still change. Before your visit, check the official Festival Longevidade 2026 page again, especially the program, capacity notices, access guidance and updates on specific experiences.
