Yes. Saturday, September 19, remains on the São Paulo Oktoberfest 2026 calendar. The updated notice from the São Paulo Municipal Department of Education says that the September 18 program was canceled by the event production team because of poor weather conditions and states that all other dates remain unchanged. On the same page, September 19 is listed with a 2:00 p.m. start time. The official São Paulo Oktoberfest website now also presents the 2026 edition as running from September 19 through October 4, reinforcing that the event is still scheduled to open to the public this Saturday.
What was canceled on Friday, September 18
The announced cancellation applies to September 18. The SME page says the decision was made by the event production team because of bad weather and explicitly adds that the other dates were not changed.
This matters because the previously published calendar included September 18 as the festival's first Friday. After the notice, the schedule displayed by the event itself began highlighting the period from September 19 to October 4. In other words, Friday's cancellation does not mean the weekend or the entire edition has been canceled.
Saturday, September 19: time and planned attractions
For September 19, the SME lists 2:00 p.m. The page also names attractions associated with that date, including Dauerlaufband, Banda do Barril and Terra Celta. Because outdoor event schedules can be adjusted for operational reasons, it is sensible to check the official channels again when you are about to leave.
The listed venue is the Event Arena at Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo. According to the event's presentation, the 2026 edition combines music, food and activities connected to German culture.
Which dates are still scheduled
With September 18 removed, the calendar published by the SME keeps the following dates and times:

| 09/20 | Sunday | 2:00 p.m. |

Where to reconfirm before leaving home
For a last-minute check, consult the official São Paulo Oktoberfest website first and then the updated SME notice, especially if weather conditions worsen again. Ticket holders should also check the messages linked to their ticket and any notices from the official sales channel.
There is one practical detail worth noting: the SME page points to Gate 10. On the official event website, the page reviewed shows different access references in separate sections, with Gate 1 in one section and Gate 10 in the footer. For that reason, the safest option is to confirm the gate shown on your ticket or in the most recent event notice before traveling.
What if the ticket was for September 18?
The notice reviewed confirms the September 18 cancellation, but it does not set out, in that same communication, a general exchange, rescheduling or refund policy for every ticket type. Anyone holding a ticket specifically for Friday should check the message received at purchase or redemption and contact the organizer or the ticket platform responsible for the booking.
