Perfect Liars premieres on Prime Video on November 20, 2026. Amazon announced an exclusive release in more than 240 countries and territories and unveiled an official teaser for the adaptation of Perfectos Mentirosos, Alex Mírez's work that originated on Wattpad. The global announcement confirms the date, premise, main cast, and creative team, but that publication does not detail local items such as age ratings, dubbing and subtitle packages, or a specific Brazilian catalog page.
When Perfect Liars premieres and the announced reach
Amazon's announced date is November 20, 2026. The official text says the film will be released exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. That supports describing the launch as global without assuming country-specific details that are not in the announcement.
For viewers in Brazil, the confirmed information at this point is therefore the worldwide reach stated by Amazon itself. The publication reviewed here does not specify a release time by time zone, Brazilian age rating, audio languages, subtitles, or a local title page. Those details may appear closer to release, but they should not be treated as confirmed until a specific source provides them.

What book is Perfect Liars based on
The adaptation comes from Perfectos Mentirosos by Alex Mírez. The story first built an audience on Wattpad and later moved into publishing. In 2022, Wattpad WEBTOON Studios said that Perfectos Mentirosos was part of a three-book series published by Penguin Random House in Spain.
The size of the audience also changed over time. In its September 2026 communication, Amazon says the work has surpassed 140 million reads on Wattpad. That is the most recent figure among the official sources reviewed for this article and helps explain why the property had already been in audiovisual development for several years.
There is an important difference between the project's development history and the product that now has a release date. In 2022, Wattpad WEBTOON Studios had announced an adaptation in series format. Amazon's current communication, however, presents Perfect Liars as a Spanish Original film. For the November release, the 2026 announcement is the relevant reference for format, cast, and creative team.
What the teaser and official synopsis reveal
The teaser released by Prime Video establishes the suspense, revenge, and secrets surrounding Tagus University. Jude Derry arrives at the institution with a hidden mission: get close to the Cash brothers and uncover the truth about her brother's death.
Aegan, Adrik, and Aleixandre Cash are described as heirs to a powerful family and dominant figures in the university environment. Jude's investigation becomes entangled with attraction, manipulation, and the family's internal conflicts. The official synopsis makes clear that the film revolves around mystery and dangerous relationships, while the promotional material does not resolve the secrets driving the story.
The teaser therefore confirms tone, central characters, and premise rather than answers about culprits or the ending. It is also useful to distinguish this official material from unofficial videos that may circulate with the word “trailer” in their titles.
Confirmed Perfect Liars cast
- Irene Balmes plays Jude Derry.
- Gleb Abrosimov plays Aegan Cash.
- Pau Simon plays Adrik Cash.
- Pablo Scapigliati plays Aleixandre Cash.
- Asier Etxeandia plays Adrien Cash.
- Irene Ferreiro plays Artie.
The announced casting puts Jude and the Cash brothers at the center of the adaptation, aligning the film's principal characters with the core associated with Mírez's work.
Who writes, directs, and produces the film
Jesús Colmenar is the writer and director, with Ángela Armero as co-writer. Amazon states that the film is based on the books by Alex Mírez. Federation Spain produces the project, with Juan Solá and Mark Albela credited as producers.
WEBTOON Productions is also involved. David Madden, Mar Vila Barcelo, and Aron Levitz are credited as consulting producers in Amazon's official communication. The company's involvement connects the Prime Video version with the property's history in the Wattpad and WEBTOON ecosystem.
What is confirmed and what should not yet be assumed
As of the September 2026 announcement, the confirmed foundation is clear: Perfect Liars is a Spanish Original film for Prime Video, it derives from Alex Mírez's work, it is scheduled for November 20, it has an official teaser, and its main cast and key creative credits have been announced.
By contrast, the official page used for this research does not state the runtime, Brazilian age rating, Brazil-specific dubbing and subtitle options, or an exact release time by time zone. There is also no need to turn the worldwide reach announcement into a more specific description of the local catalog than Amazon itself has published.
For viewers following the adaptation, the central information is straightforward: the film is scheduled to arrive on Prime Video on November 20, 2026, with a release announced for more than 240 countries and territories. Other local details should be treated as confirmed only when a specific official source provides them.
