São Joaquim City Council public exam 01/2026: what changed and what candidates should review

The consolidated notice published on September 3 incorporates amendments 01 and 02. See what changed and the checklist for registration, position, documents, payment and the exam.

On September 3, 2026, the Official Gazette of the Municipalities of Santa Catarina (DOM/SC) published a new consolidated version of Public Competitive Exam Notice No. 01/2026 for the São Joaquim City Council, identified as amended by correction notices 01 and 02/2026. On the same day, Amendment 02 and a response to a challenge to the notice were also published separately. For candidates who have already registered — or still intend to register — the practical consequence is clear: every check should be made against the latest consolidated notice, not an older copy saved on a computer or phone.

What the amendments changed

Amendment 01 changed the competition schedule. The milestones that now guide the process include the registration deadline of September 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., the objective exam scheduled for October 11, final classification expected on November 10, and final homologation expected on November 11, 2026. The Acesse Concursos website continues to display the registration period from August 28 through September 27.

Amendment 02, published in DOM/SC as act No. 8681087, is more specific: it orders the removal of items 9.4 and 9.4.1 from the notice. Because the official change is an exclusion, candidates should not continue applying those clauses based on an older version. The operational reference is now the consolidated text published on September 3 as act No. 8681103.

Also on September 3, the City Council published its response to a challenge to the notice, act No. 8681082. That document is useful for anyone who wants to understand the issue raised in the challenge, but the central document for checking the rules that effectively govern participation is the consolidated notice with both amendments already incorporated.

Positions, requirements and amounts candidates should recheck

The current version keeps three positions in the public exam. Before completing or reviewing a registration, make sure the selected position, required education and professional registration — where applicable — match your situation.

Accounting Advisor (Assessor de Contabilidade)1 + reserve list25 hours/weekR$ 6,169.04Degree in Accounting and registration with the CRC

The published application fees are R$ 150 for Accounting Advisor and Legal Advisor and R$ 100 for Secretary. The schedule also allows eligible candidates to request a fee exemption until September 11. Anyone relying on an exemption should check not only the electronic request but also the supporting documents required and the later publication of the decision.

Checklist to confirm your participation after the amendments

  1. Download the consolidated notice again. Confirm that its cover or header states that Notice No. 01/2026 was amended by correction notices 01 and 02/2026. In DOM/SC, the consolidated act is No. 8681103.
  2. Confirm the position you selected. Compare the position name, education requirement, professional registration, workweek and pay with the current version.
  3. Review your registration data. In the Acesse Concursos candidate area, check your name, CPF number, contact details and the registration linked to the correct position. Keep your registration number and available receipts.
  4. Do not confuse submitting a form with having a homologated registration. Completing the form is one step. Candidates must still meet the payment or exemption requirements and later check the list of accepted and rejected registrations.
  5. Check the fee and payment deadline. The current material indicates that the bank slip may be issued and paid until September 28. Follow the payment method stated in the notice and keep proof of payment; the published guidance states that Pix payments are not recognized.
  6. If you requested a fee exemption, follow the result. Do not assume approval simply because documents were submitted. Check the organizer's publication and, if the request is denied, observe the specific appeal period.
  7. If you requested special conditions or are applying as a person with a disability, verify that every required document was uploaded in the required format and by the applicable deadline.
  8. Update your calendar. The objective exam is scheduled for October 11, 2026. Check the venue and time when the organizer publishes the registration homologation and the corresponding call notice.
  9. Disregard items 9.4 and 9.4.1 from older versions. Amendment 02 expressly removed them from the notice.
  10. Keep monitoring publications through the exam and final result. In a public competitive exam, a later amendment or notice may change what is currently in force.

How the objective exam is structured

The selection process provides for an objective exam with eliminatory and classificatory effect for all three positions, scheduled for October 11, 2026. The test is expected to have 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of three hours, covering Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Information Technology, Position-Specific Knowledge and Legislation. The stated minimum passing score is 5 points. Candidates should confirm the venue and time in the organizer's official publication rather than inferring them from the exam date alone.

Where to check the official documents

For registration, the candidate area and competition documents, use the Acesse Concursos page. To verify officially published acts, consult the São Joaquim City Council page in DOM/SC and look especially for acts 8681103 (consolidated notice), 8681087 (Amendment 02) and 8681082 (response to the challenge). The City Council also maintains its institutional Public Competitive Exams page.

Reference date for this guide: September 4, 2026. If the City Council or the organizer publishes a later act, the latest official document applicable to the competition prevails.
