Cubatão Public Competition No. 01/2026 was issued through two separate notices, and that split determines which application a candidate must use. Notice 01 covers technical, administrative, inspection and health positions; Notice 02 is exclusively for the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM). Applications for both are open from September 15 until 11:59 p.m. on October 15, 2026, but each notice has its own IBAM page, form, fee and rules.
There is an important detail about the vacancy count. The City Hall announcement published on September 15 refers to “about 40 vacancies” under Notice 01. The current IBAM page, however, lists the positions individually and totals 43 immediate vacancies, plus reserve lists for seven positions. Notice 02 offers 13 GCM vacancies. For that reason, candidates should use the IBAM vacancy table and the full notice as the reference when choosing an application, rather than relying only on the rounded figure in the initial announcement.

Notice 01: who should use this application
Notice 01 is the route for candidates seeking the general positions in the competition. The IBAM page lists 18 job options. Immediate vacancies include Private Works Inspector, Public Works Inspector, Public Services Inspector, Storekeeper, Accounting Technician, Social Promotion Technician, Occupational Safety Technician, Administrative Services Technician, Surveyor, Occupational Nurse and Psychologist. Other positions are listed for reserve registration.
The requirement is not the same for every option. Some positions require completed high school, some require specific technical training, and two require a university degree. Candidates therefore should not choose based only on the position name or salary: Annex I of Notice 01 is where education, specific requirements, weekly hours, pay and fee are tied to each job code.
Notice 01 also groups positions into blocks for application purposes. A candidate may apply for more than one position as long as the choices belong to different blocks; multiple applications within the same block do not operate as independent chances on test day. The candidate area should be used to confirm which application was actually registered.
Notice 02: why the GCM has a separate notice
Anyone seeking the Municipal Civil Guard position must use Notice 02, code 201. The position requires completed high school and a valid category AB driver’s license. The notice also sets general appointment requirements, including being at least 18 years old at appointment and not having reached age 75 by that date.
The GCM application fee is R$ 88, listed pay is R$ 3,577.48 and the weekly schedule is 40 hours. The vacancy table also establishes a minimum 10% reservation for women under municipal law. During the training course, enrolled candidates are designated “Aluno Guarda Civil Municipal de Cubatão” and receive an allowance equal to 50% of the base pay for the position, without the training period creating an employment relationship.
The main difference in Notice 02 is not only the job itself but the selection process. After the objective test come a physical fitness test; medical, dental and long-window toxicology exams; a psychological assessment; a background investigation; and a training course. All are eliminatory stages. Candidates choosing the GCM track should therefore verify documentation requirements and readiness for the physical and later assessments before paying the fee.
The applications are separate: use the correct form
IBAM maintains two distinct pages for the same Public Competition No. 01/2026. In practice, candidates must open the page for the desired notice, click “Inscrição Online”, complete that form and pay the fee associated with that option. An application is only considered effective after payment.
- Notice 01: use Cubatão — Public Competition No. 01/2026 — Notice 01 for the general positions.
- Notice 02: use Cubatão — Public Competition No. 01/2026 — Notice 02 for the Municipal Civil Guard.
- Deadline: both forms remain available until 11:59 p.m. on October 15, 2026.
- Payment: IBAM lists October 16 as the bank-slip due date; the notices also allow PIX and credit card under the stated payment procedures.
Objective test: same planned date, while times depend on the call notice
Both notices schedule the objective test for December 20, 2026. The call notice with locations and times is expected on December 11. Because the notices are separate and final times will be published later, anyone considering applications under both should not assume the tests will be compatible; the practical answer depends on the official call notice.
Checklist before paying the fee
- Confirm whether the position is under Notice 01 or is the GCM position under Notice 02.
- Read the exact requirement for the chosen code in Annex I.
- Check the fee before paying: R$ 77, R$ 96 or R$ 88, depending on the option.
- For the GCM, verify high school completion, category AB license and availability for every eliminatory stage.
- Keep the payment receipt and monitor the application status in the IBAM candidate area.
- Follow amendments, call notices and results through IBAM, Cubatão City Hall and the city’s Official Gazette.
