The Registration Confirmation Card for the first stage of Revalida 2026/2 will be released on September 4, 2026. This is the updated date announced by Inep on August 17, when the institute published changes to the schedule. The exam remains scheduled for September 13, and the period for appeals against the preliminary versions of the theoretical exam answer key will run from September 15 to 17.
For candidates, the card is mainly a way to confirm where and under what conditions they will take the exam. The safest approach is to check it as soon as it becomes available in the Revalida System, review the information and use it to plan the trip in advance. Inep says bringing the card on exam day is recommended, but not mandatory.
September 4 card: what changed in the schedule
Inep reported that the Registration Confirmation Card release was moved to September 4. Because the schedule was changed, candidates should prioritize the institute's most recent notice and the official Revalida 2026 legislation page, which brings together the public notice and its amendment.
The card can be checked in the Revalida System. According to Inep, it includes information such as the test-site address, the time, the registration number and, when applicable, an indication of approved specialized assistance or use of a social name. Official source: Inep's updated guidance for Revalida 2026/2.
On the card: what to check
- Test-site address: verify the venue name, street, number, neighborhood and city. Then simulate the route and allow extra time for traffic, public transportation and building access.
- Times: the exam follows Brasília time. Gates open at 12:00 p.m. and close at 1:00 p.m.; the exam starts at 1:30 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m.
- Registration number: make sure the number shown matches your registration and keep it accessible for system queries.
- Specialized assistance: if your request was approved, check that the accommodation appears correctly on the card.
- Social name: when requested and approved, verify that it is indicated as expected.
If you find a discrepancy, do not wait until exam day to try to resolve it. Check the Revalida System and Inep's official guidance. The card is a confirmation and planning document; identification at the test site depends on a valid photo ID under the exam rules.
Before leaving on September 13
The most useful approach is to prepare a short checklist the day before and repeat it before leaving. Inep requires a black ballpoint pen made of transparent material and a valid identification document. The confirmation card is advisable, as is a printed Attendance Declaration for candidates who need proof of presence.
- Set aside the identification document you will present.
- Bring a black pen made of transparent material.
- Check the test-site address and travel time again.
- If you wish, bring the Registration Confirmation Card.
- If you need proof of attendance, bring a printed Attendance Declaration.
- Plan to arrive before gates close at 1:00 p.m., Brasília time.
On exam day: identification and permitted items
Inep requires an official identification document with a photo. Depending on the candidate's situation, accepted documents include IDs issued by public authorities, the National Migratory Registration Card, passport, driver's license and other documents listed in the public notice. Digital photo IDs such as e-Título, digital driver's license, digital RG and the digital National Identity Card are also accepted when presented through official Brazilian government applications or the Gov.br app.
After arriving, follow the test staff's instructions regarding the belongings envelope. Inep's official page lists items that must be stored according to the proctor's instructions, including the confirmation card, printed attendance declaration, watches, electronic devices, notes and other materials not permitted during the exam. See the official list on the “On exam day” page.
After the exam: the next deadlines
The first post-exam deadline is short. Inep set September 15 to 17 as the period for appeals against the preliminary versions of the theoretical exam answer key. Candidates who intend to challenge a question or answer should follow the Revalida System and the instructions published for the procedure.
The final result of the first stage is scheduled for December 4, 2026. It will be available on the Participant Page in the Revalida System. Participation in the second stage depends on passing the first.

Where to confirm any update
Because this edition's schedule has already been changed, always use the most recent official source before making a decision. Inep maintains a Revalida 2026 legislation page with the public notice and amendments, as well as news and edition guidance. For the September stage, the latest reference is the update published on August 17, 2026.
