Love Iguassu 2026 takes place in Foz do Iguaçu from September 24 to 27, with a four-day, three-night program combining tourism, music, gastronomy, diversity and experiences at some of the destination's best-known attractions. The third edition is themed Magia das Águas, and the main planning decision is whether to buy standalone tickets for specific experiences or book a package that includes accommodation, transfers and sightseeing.

The official Love Iguassu website presents it as an LGBT+ tourism festival and confirms more than seven hours of music with Brazilian DJs and artists with international recognition. The announced line-up includes Mariah Thompson, Van Müller, Bravat, Rafael Barreto, João Castro and Earl Oliveira.

How Love Iguassu 2026 is organized

The festival is not a single-site party. The official itinerary spreads activities across Foz do Iguaçu, with an opening event at Iguaçu Falls, a visit to Itaipu, a club night, shopping in Paraguay, AquaFoz and the main party at Dreams Motor Show. Transportation logistics and the type of ticket you buy are therefore part of the experience.

Sep. 27, SundayReturn from the party, hotel checkout and outbound transfer according to the packageMatch checkout and flight time with the actual end time and transport plan

September 24: the Sunset opens the festival at the Falls

The first major event is the Sunset at Iguaçu Falls. The ticket page lists it from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with special access to Iguaçu National Park, music and welcome drinks. João Castro is listed as a special guest. The standalone ticket also describes official transportation from Catuaí Palladium shopping mall, a photo ID requirement for wristband pickup and an early check-in window.

There is an important difference for travelers comparing purchase formats: the logistics on the standalone ticket are not identical to the package itinerary, which is built around hotel departures. Before buying, confirm the boarding point that applies to your product. Parking at the mall, for example, is listed as not included with the standalone Sunset ticket.

September 25: Itaipu, a flexible afternoon and Purple Club

On Friday, the package itinerary schedules a morning departure for Itaipu Binacional, with admission included. The afternoon offers optional activities such as a helicopter flight over the Falls and Parque das Aves. Travelers who do not add those activities can use the afternoon as a break before the evening program.

At night, the itinerary lists a party at Purple Club, with round-trip transport in the package, admission and one beer per person. The line-up is presented as programming by the club itself. If you are buying only standalone events, verify whether this night is sold separately and which services come with that ticket, because benefits included in the package should not be assumed for other purchase types.

September 26: daytime touring and the Magia das Águas party

Saturday has the longest sequence in the itinerary. In the morning, the package includes up to two hours of shopping in Paraguay. In the afternoon, there is a visit to AquaFoz with admission included. At night, the main Magia das Águas party takes place at Dreams Motor Show on Avenida das Cataratas.

The package page includes admission, transportation and three hours of open bar for the main party. The Sympla ticket page states an 18+ age restriction and describes the open bar as including water, soft drinks, juices, draft beer, bottled beer and four types of cocktails.

There is a timing discrepancy worth checking close to the event. The Sympla page shows 11:30 p.m. as the start and gives different end-time references between its header and event description, while the package itinerary uses its own transportation schedule and hotel return time. Use your issued ticket and organizer communications as the final reference for entry, departure and transportation.

Which music acts are confirmed

The official website lists six names in its music section: Mariah Thompson, Van Müller, Bravat, Rafael Barreto, João Castro and Earl Oliveira. The festival describes more than seven hours of dance-floor programming with DJs and artists across different styles. In addition to the general line-up, the Sunset highlights João Castro and the Purple Club night has programming attributed to the venue.

Do not treat the general list as a complete artist-by-artist timetable. Until the organizer publishes detailed set times, follow the official website and festival channels for updates on order and performance times.

Standalone ticket or package: what changes

Official channels present both tickets for individual experiences and travel packages. The event hub links separate sales for the Sunset and the Magia das Águas party, while package pages combine accommodation with ground services.

The published accommodation package includes four days and three nights at JL Hotel By Bourbon, breakfast, early check-in on September 24, airport arrival and departure transfers in Foz do Iguaçu, transportation to two parties, the Sunset and itinerary tours, plus admission to Iguaçu Falls, Itaipu, the Sunset and AquaFoz. Airfare is not included. Optional tours must also be treated separately.

This distinction is central to budgeting. Someone already staying in Foz may prefer to buy only selected experiences. Travelers who want fewer separate bookings can compare the full package, paying attention to availability, payment and cancellation policies, fees and the exact list of included services.

Checklist before you buy

  • Choose the format: full package, standalone Sunset, standalone main party or another combination offered through official channels.
  • Check transportation: boarding point, schedules and whether round-trip transport is included in the product you buy.
  • Review included admissions: attractions and parties bundled with a package should not be assumed to be included with standalone tickets.
  • Check hotel and airport details: confirm hotel, early check-in, checkout and transfers when booking a package.
  • Separate optional activities: Friday add-ons are not automatically included in every price.
  • Read the main party rule: the standalone listing states an 18+ age restriction.
  • Bring ID: the Sunset requires photo identification for wristband pickup.
  • Watch for changes: the package terms state that the itinerary may change for operational or weather reasons.
  • If you plan to enter Paraguay: confirm accepted border documents and requirements for your nationality in advance.

How to plan the four days without overloading your schedule

Love Iguassu alternates daytime sightseeing with late-night parties. Saturday is especially busy because it combines shopping, AquaFoz and the main party. If you are traveling mainly for the festival, leave time for meals, changing clothes and rest between transfers. If you want to add other Foz attractions, do not automatically place them in the same windows as the festival's optional activities.

Plan your return flight with a buffer as well. The published itinerary includes a return from the party and hotel checkout on Sunday, but the final timing should be confirmed against your ticket and contracted transport operation. A very early flight may reduce the usefulness of the transfer or require leaving before the program ends.

Where to confirm final information

For booking decisions, use the Love Iguassu website, the official itinerary and sales pages linked by the organizer. Ticket availability, operational times and transportation details can change before the event, so check the specific product again before paying and once more during the week of your trip.
