What to follow for the Iberian clubs
Barcelona
As titleholders, Barcelona open at home to Paris FC on 23 September. Their other league-phase opponents are Roma, HB Køge Women, Arsenal, Servette and Bayern München. The Spanish club will play three matches at home and three away, in line with the competition's league-phase rules.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid begin at home to Paris Saint-Germain on 22 September. Their other opponents are Manchester City, Bayern München, Paris FC, Inter and Roma. Every result feeds into the same 18-team league table rather than a separate group.
Benfica
Benfica start away to Juventus, also on 22 September. They then face Bayern München, Arsenal, Austria Wien, Roma and HB Køge Women. Like Barcelona and Real Madrid, Benfica accumulate points in the single league ranking.

How the Women's Champions League league phase works
The 2026/27 season is the second under the 18-team league-phase format. It is not a full round-robin competition. Each club faces six different opponents in single matches, with three fixtures at home and three away.
- All 18 teams are ranked together in one league table.
- A win is worth three points, a draw one point and a defeat zero.
- Teams finishing 1st to 4th qualify directly for the quarter-finals.
- Teams finishing 5th to 12th enter the knockout phase play-offs.
- Teams finishing 13th to 18th are eliminated from the competition.
For the draw, the 18 clubs were split into three pots of six. Each team was assigned two opponents from each pot, playing one opponent from each pot at home and the other away. In principle, clubs from the same association cannot face each other in the league phase.
What comes after the league phase
The knockout play-offs are scheduled for 3 and 4 February 2027, with the return legs on 10 and 11 February. The quarter-finals are set for 23 and 24 March, with second legs on 31 March and 1 April. The semi-finals are scheduled for 1 and 2 May, with return legs on 8 and 9 May.
The final will be played at Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw. UEFA lists 28, 29 or 30 May 2027 for the final, with the exact day still to be fixed.
