Maroon 5 has four appearances in Brazil in September 2026, but they are not four concerts in the same format. The September 6, 8 and 10 dates are part of the Love Is Like World Tour, with their own tickets and schedules in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo and Salvador. On September 12, however, the band is a Palco Mundo headliner at Rock in Rio, in Rio de Janeiro, as part of a full festival day.
This distinction clears up the main scheduling confusion: “Rio Preto” means São José do Rio Preto, in the state of São Paulo, while Rock in Rio takes place at the Cidade do Rock in Rio de Janeiro. The São Paulo venue name also deserves attention: Ticketmaster’s current sales page uses Nubank Parque; an older presale page may still appear in search results under the Allianz Parque name, at the same address.

September 6: São José do Rio Preto starts the run
The first of the three standalone Brazil tour concerts takes place on Sunday, September 6, at the Recinto de Exposições in São José do Rio Preto. Ticketmaster lists doors at 4:00 p.m. and the show at 8:30 p.m. In the official Brazil tour schedule, this date is separate from the Rock in Rio appearance, so the ticket is specific to the Rio Preto event.
To avoid a common reading mistake, do not confuse “Rio Preto” with Rio de Janeiro: this is São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo state. The official event page is on Ticketmaster.
September 8: São Paulo show at Nubank Parque
On Tuesday, September 8, Maroon 5 performs in São Paulo. Ticketmaster’s current listing names Nubank Parque, at Rua Palestra Itália, 200, with doors at 4:00 p.m. and the show at 8:30 p.m. This is another standalone Love Is Like World Tour concert.
One detail can confuse people coming from search results: an older presale page still identifies the venue as Allianz Parque. For the final check, use the current general-sale page, which uses the Nubank Parque name and keeps the event address.
September 10: Salvador closes the standalone tour dates before the festival
The third tour concert in Brazil takes place on Thursday, September 10, at Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador. Doors are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and the show for 9:00 p.m., according to Ticketmaster.
Like Rio Preto and São Paulo, Salvador is a standalone Love Is Like World Tour date. That means the logistics, seating areas and ticket belong to this specific concert, not to Rock in Rio.
September 12: at Rock in Rio, the ticket works differently
On Saturday, September 12, the format changes: Maroon 5 is listed as a Palco Mundo headliner at Rock in Rio 2026. The official September 12 Palco Mundo lineup also includes Demi Lovato, J Balvin and Pedro Sampaio. The performance is therefore part of a festival day with multiple artists rather than a standalone tour date.
The official Rock in Rio website confirms Maroon 5 on September 12 at Palco Mundo. The festival takes place at Cidade do Rock, in Parque Olímpico, Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. The official FAQ states that gates open at 2:00 p.m., the event ends at 3:00 a.m. and last entry is at midnight. The official pages reviewed for this article do not publish a specific Maroon 5 set time, so the lineup order should not be converted into an assumed time.
How to know which ticket and schedule you have
- September 6, 8 or 10: you are attending a standalone Love Is Like World Tour concert. Check the corresponding city, venue and ticket on Ticketmaster.
- September 12: you are attending Rock in Rio. The ticket is valid for that festival day and its programming, not only for Maroon 5.
- São Paulo: use the current general-sale page as the reference for the Nubank Parque name, because older search results may still show Allianz Parque.
- Rio Preto vs. Rio de Janeiro: September 6 is São José do Rio Preto (SP); September 12 is Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
Digital tickets: set up Quentro before leaving
Ticketmaster’s pages for the three standalone concerts state that tickets are exclusively digital and activated through the Quentro app. Rock in Rio also uses digital tickets in Quentro and says screenshots and printed copies are not accepted. As a practical step, log in ahead of time, use the same email address as the purchase and confirm that the ticket is available before traveling to the venue.
For the three tour concerts, the consolidated Love Is Like World Tour Brazil page lists São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo and Salvador and also notes Maroon 5’s headline Rock in Rio appearance on September 12. For the festival date, check Rock in Rio’s own schedule and operating rules directly, because stage times and practical guidance may be updated before the event.
