Porto and Sporting already have all eight of their matches set for the 2026/27 Champions League league phase. UEFA published the team-by-team schedule with dates and kick-off times in mainland Portugal: matches start at 20:00 unless the official list specifically shows 17:45. After the opening September matchday, October brings two fixtures for each Portuguese club.

October fixtures: Porto and Sporting in sequence

The four October matches form a simple sequence to follow: both clubs first play away and then return home the following week. Sporting visit Lens on 13 October at 17:45 and host LASK on 21 October at 20:00. Porto visit Real Betis on 14 October at 20:00 and host PSV Eindhoven on 20 October, also at 20:00.

In practical scheduling terms, Porto have six days between their two October games, while Sporting have eight. This is only a calendar and home/away reading: the sequence itself does not support predictions about standings or the actual difficulty of each match.

Porto's complete league-phase schedule

Porto opened their campaign at home against Manchester City and have four matches at the Estádio do Dragão and four away. The official schedule is:

How the 2026/27 Champions League league phase works

The league phase has 36 clubs in a single table. Each team faces eight different opponents in one-off matches: four at home and four away. The top eight advance directly to the round of 16; teams placed 9th to 24th enter the knockout phase play-offs; clubs finishing 25th to 36th are eliminated from European competition.

UEFA explains the model in its league-phase draw and format guide. For Porto and Sporting, the schedules above therefore cover the entire stage before any possible progression to the knockout rounds.

Key dates after October

  • 3 and 4 November: Matchday 4, with Shakhtar Donetsk vs Sporting and Porto vs Napoli.
  • 24 and 25 November: Matchday 5, with Feyenoord vs Porto and Sporting vs Manchester United.
  • 8 and 9 December: Matchday 6, with Roma vs Sporting and Liverpool vs Porto.
  • 19 and 20 January: Matchday 7, with Porto vs Slavia Praha and Sporting vs Barcelona.
  • 27 January: the eighth and final matchday, when LASK vs Porto and Manchester City vs Sporting close the league phase.

What to recheck before each match

When planning how to watch or attend a match, the most important step is to recheck the kick-off time on the club's official UEFA page before the fixture. The schedule above follows the official information available on 15 September 2026 and consistently uses mainland Portugal time.
