On August 31, 2026, the CBF published the detailed schedule for Rounds 27 to 30 of Brazil's Série A, including dates, kickoff times, venues and broadcast information in the official document. For anyone planning travel, tickets, transport to the stadium or simply deciding which matches to follow, the key is not only the date of each game but the four-match sequence facing every club. Round 27 runs from September 11 to 14, Round 28 on September 19 and 20, Round 29 on October 7 and 8, and Round 30 from October 10 to 12. See the official CBF publication.
All kickoff times below are shown in Brasília time. The focus is planning, not predicting results. The intervals between matches were calculated from the kickoff times released by the CBF and represent only the gap between Brasileirão games; they do not, by themselves, mean free days in each club's full calendar.
How the four rounds are laid out
| Round | Dates | Practical reading |
|---|---|---|
| 27 | September 11–14 | Spread from Friday through Monday, producing different gaps before the next league match. |
| 28 | September 19–20 | Concentrated over the weekend, including one Sunday 11:00 kickoff plus afternoon and evening games. |
| 29 | October 7–8 | A midweek round, with matches on Wednesday and Thursday. |
| 30 | October 10–12 | Starts on Saturday and ends on Monday; for some clubs it arrives less than 72 hours after Round 29. |

H = home; A = away. The interval is calculated from the Round 29 kickoff to the Round 30 kickoff.
Ten clubs have less than 72 hours between Rounds 29 and 30
The tightest part of this stretch falls between October 7–8 and October 10–12. Looking only at the scheduled Brasileirão kickoff times, ten teams are below 72 hours between the two matches:
- 68 hours: Atlético-MG, Fluminense and Palmeiras.
- 68 hours 30 minutes: Santos and Vasco.
- 69 hours 30 minutes: Remo.
- 70 hours: Bahia, Coritiba and Flamengo.
- 71 hours 30 minutes: São Paulo.
The number should not be read in isolation. Fluminense, for example, plays both Round 29 and Round 30 at the Maracanã, with only the formal home designation changing. Vasco also remains in Rio de Janeiro for both rounds. Remo, by contrast, goes from a home match in Belém on October 7 at 19:30 to an away game against Vasco in Rio on October 10 at 17:00. From a logistics perspective, similar time gaps can therefore create very different travel demands.
The Round 28-to-29 gap is large in the league schedule, but it is not automatically a break
Because Round 28 ends on September 20 and Round 29 does not begin until October 7, every club has roughly 17 to 19 days between those two Brasileirão fixtures. That is a sharp contrast with the 29→30 turnaround. Still, anyone assessing actual recovery time needs the club's complete calendar: this calculation measures only Série A matches in this four-round window.
Who has more home games and who has more away games
Four clubs have three home fixtures across Rounds 27 to 30: Atlético-MG, Flamengo, Grêmio and Palmeiras. At the other end, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Fluminense and Internacional play three times away. Every other team splits the stretch evenly, with two home and two away games.
The order matters as much as the total. Flamengo and Atlético-MG start with back-to-back home games in Rounds 27 and 28, travel in Round 29 and return home in Round 30. Cruzeiro, Fluminense and Internacional open with two consecutive away fixtures. Corinthians closes the stretch with two straight away games.
What changes for fans trying to watch more than one match
The kickoff distribution creates a few practical pinch points. Round 27 starts on Friday with Coritiba v Athletico-PR and ends on Monday with Bahia v Remo. In Round 28, Grêmio v Palmeiras is the only Sunday 11:00 kickoff. Round 29 is entirely midweek.
Round 30 has a particularly notable overlap on Sunday, October 11 at 17:30: Flamengo v Fluminense, Palmeiras v Corinthians and Grêmio v Internacional all kick off at the same time. Anyone hoping to watch more than one of those matches live faces a complete scheduling conflict.
How to use the schedule for travel, stadium and broadcast planning
- Confirm the round and home designation: a club can play twice in the same city even when it is technically the away side in a local derby.
- Compare exact kickoff times: counting calendar days alone can hide several hours of difference in recovery and logistics.
- Separate the Serie A gap from actual rest: the space between league rounds does not tell you, by itself, whether a team has other commitments.
- Check the latest CBF version before booking travel or accommodation: the detailed table is the official reference and may be updated.
- For broadcasts, use the official document: the CBF says the attachment for Rounds 27 to 30 includes broadcast information, while this guide prioritizes calendar and logistics.
Planning takeaway
Rounds 27 to 30 form two very different blocks. September brings a long Round 27 stretching from Friday to Monday, followed by a compact two-day Round 28. Then comes a gap of more than two weeks between Brasileirão games before a midweek Round 29. Round 30 follows quickly and leaves ten clubs with less than 72 hours between kickoff times. For clubs, that changes logistics and home/away sequencing; for supporters, it changes how early they need to plan travel, stadium visits and viewing choices — without turning the schedule into a prediction of sporting performance.
