Curitiba's Mobile Entrepreneur Center is an adapted bus that provides free assistance to individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs), small business owners and people who want to start a business. Because it travels to neighborhoods and events, check the location and hours on the official service schedule before visiting. The Curitiba city government describes it as a mobile extension of its Entrepreneur Centers.

Where can you find the service?

The city's Service Guide is the reference for the next stop, listing scheduled dates and locations. Open the schedule on the day you plan to go and check the address, date and hours: a news item about a previous stop does not establish that the bus is still there. The city also announced the bus's presence at the Sebrae Entrepreneur Fair from September 16 to 19, 2026, at Viasoft Experience on the Universidade Positivo campus, Rua Professor Pedro Viriato Parigot de Souza, 5300. For other dates, consult the updated schedule.

What services does the bus offer?

According to the city, the team advises on opening and formalizing a MEI business, bringing companies into compliance, checking outstanding issues, issuing documents and payment slips, filing the MEI Annual Declaration (DASN-SIMEI), arranging debt installments and services for people who already run or intend to start a business. It also provides information about municipal microcredit programs and individual guidance on the next steps for a particular issue.

How should you prepare for a visit?

  1. Define your main question: opening a MEI business, issuing a payment slip, checking an outstanding issue, filing the annual declaration or understanding a debt.
  2. Check the official schedule on the same day and note the address and service hours.
  3. Gather the details and documents relevant to your case, such as personal identification, the CNPJ number if you already have a business, and notices or payment slips related to the issue. This is practical preparation advice, not an official list of required documents.
  4. If your situation calls for a specific procedure, confirm with the team which documents and steps are required.

The guidance service is free. The city reported 439 visits to the bus between January and June 2026, resulting in 1,523 procedures and services; these figures describe the first half of the year and are not a forecast of future service levels.
