Friday Night Baseball on Friday, September 18, 2026, features two games on Apple TV: the Philadelphia Phillies at the New York Mets and the San Francisco Giants at the Los Angeles Dodgers. MLB's current schedule lists first pitch at 7:15 p.m. ET and 10:15 p.m. ET, respectively. In Brasília time, the games start at 8:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m.
Those times differ from the schedule Apple published on August 10. In that announcement, the September 18 games were listed for 7 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET. The official MLB schedule for today now lists 7:15 p.m. ET and 10:15 p.m. ET, so this guide uses the league's latest posted start times.
Today's Friday Night Baseball games
| Game | ET | PT | Brasília time | Where to watch |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Philadelphia Phillies at New York Mets | 7:15 p.m. | 4:15 p.m. | 8:15 p.m. | Apple TV |
| San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers | 10:15 p.m. | 7:15 p.m. | 11:15 p.m. | Apple TV |
On September 18, U.S. Eastern Time is one hour behind Brasília, while Pacific Time is four hours behind. For viewers in Brazil, the first matchup falls in prime time and the second begins close to midnight.
Why do the times differ from Apple's original announcement?
Apple announced the September schedule on August 10 with Phillies at Mets at 7 p.m. ET and Giants at Dodgers at 10 p.m. ET. MLB's official schedule checked on September 18 shows both games starting 15 minutes later. Schedule adjustments can happen between an advance announcement and game day. To decide when to open the stream, the updated MLB schedule and the current game card on Apple TV are the best references.

Apple says Friday Night Baseball is available to subscribers in 60 countries and regions with no local broadcast restrictions. The company lists access through the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K, Apple Vision Pro, smart TVs, multiple streaming devices and game consoles, as well as browser access on supported devices. The Brazilian Apple TV page also presents Friday baseball as included with the subscription, with no separate per-game charge.
Availability by market
- Standard Apple TV stream: Apple says Friday Night Baseball is available in 60 countries and regions.
- Local blackouts: Apple says the games are shown without local broadcast restrictions, avoiding the regional blackout rules common to some sports packages.
- Brazil: Friday Night Baseball is part of the Brazilian Apple TV offering. For today's games, use 8:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Brasília time as the start-time reference.
- Apple Immersive: this is separate from the standard broadcast and has a smaller list of supported markets.
Giants at Dodgers is also available in Apple Immersive
Apple included Giants at Dodgers among the games streaming live in Apple Immersive on Apple Vision Pro. The format uses 3D video recorded in 8K, a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio. For September 18, Apple lists the feature for Vision Pro users with an active Apple TV subscription in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Brazil is not on that specific Apple Immersive market list. This does not change the availability of the regular Apple TV broadcast in markets where Friday Night Baseball is offered.
What to check before pressing play
- Confirm the start time shown on the game page because MLB has updated the times from Apple's original schedule announcement.
- Make sure the Apple TV app is up to date and that the account on the device has an active subscription.
- If you are traveling, check service availability in the country or region you are in, especially for additional features such as Apple Immersive.
