Enade 2026: specialized service resource ends on August 7th

Students denied specialized assistance in Enade 2026 can appeal until August 7th. See documents, steps and upcoming deadlines.

Cronograma com as datas do recurso de atendimento especializado, resultado final, consulta ao local de prova e aplicação do Enade 2026.

The initial denial does not terminate the request for specialized assistance in Enade 2026. The student whose documentation was rejected can submit an appeal through the Enade System until 11:59 pm on August 7, 2026, Brasília time. The notice determines that a new supporting document be attached, and the result of the appeal is scheduled for August 14, 2026.

The deadline for this guide applies to Enade 2026 for bachelor's and higher technology courses, with the exception of medicine. Medicine is part of Enamed, while degrees follow their own rules for evaluating degrees. The operational reference for this audience is Inep Notice nº 61, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on May 15, 2026.

What students need to do by August 7th

The resource is not a new request for specialized service. It is the opportunity to contest the rejection of a previously presented request, the preliminary result of which was made available on July 31st.

To appeal, the student must log into the Enade System, consult the results of the request and send the required documentation within the period from August 3 to 7, 2026. The initial request for service was closed on July 24; therefore, the appeal is intended for those who requested assistance on time and received a denial.

The most important point is this: the notice requires the insertion of a new document that proves the need for the requested service. Simply repeating the submission without correcting the probable cause of the denial may not solve the problem.

Step by step to present the resource

1. Access the Enade System through the official address

Log into the Enade System using the identification required for students. Access is individual, and authentication data should not be shared with colleagues, teachers or third parties.

Use only the official system indicated by Inep. Messages sent through applications, social networks or unverified accounts do not replace the procedure within the platform.

2. See the result of the initial request

Locate the area referring to specialized service and check which request was rejected. Read all the information presented on the screen, especially any justifications, pending issues or indications related to the document sent previously.

Menu and button names may change depending on system updates. Therefore, the student must look for the section linked to specialized assistance, the result of the request or the appeal.

3. Identify what needs to be fixed

Compare the previous document with the requirements of the notice. Check, for example, whether the file was legible, whether it correctly identified the student, whether it presented the condition underlying the request and whether it contained the signature and identification of the responsible professional.

When the resource is related to additional time or room for a companion, the documentation must specifically justify this need. A generic statement of the condition may not demonstrate why that resource should be granted.

4. Prepare a new supporting document

The new file must correct or complement the documentation that was not accepted. According to the notice, the general document must:

  • be readable;
  • be written in Portuguese;
  • present the student’s full name;
  • contain the description of the diagnosis and/or the corresponding ICD-10 code;
  • have the signature and identification of the competent professional;
  • present the registration number with the professional council or equivalent body, when applicable.

The notice accepts files in PDF, PNG or JPG formats, with a maximum size of 2 MB. Before sending, open the file on your cell phone or computer and check that all pages, signatures, dates and information appear without cuts or distortions.

5. Submit the resource within the system

Attach the new document to the area designated for the resource and complete all the steps presented on the screen. Don't leave the procedure until the last few minutes of August 7th.

The notice establishes that the periods end at 11:59 pm, Brasília time, on the last scheduled day. It also informs that documents are not accepted outside the Enade System or after the deadline, except in exceptional situations expressly provided for in the evaluation rules.

6. Confirm that the sending was completed

After attaching the file, check if the system indicates that the resource was actually registered. Return to the request page and check the status.

The notice gives the student the responsibility for monitoring the status of the actions carried out and confirming whether they were completed correctly. For editorial caution, it is recommended to save:

  • the protocol, when the system makes it available;
  • the receipt or summary of the request;
  • a screenshot of the resource status;
  • an exact copy of the attached document;
  • the date and time the submission was completed.

Saving these records does not replace the official protocol or guarantee acceptance of the appeal, but it helps the student to prove what measures they took and which file they used.

7. Check the result on August 14th

The result of the appeal must be consulted in the Enade System itself from August 14, 2026. The notice informs that it is up to the student to enter the platform to monitor the request data; you should not rely solely on an email, message or notice from the institution.

Document checklist before submission

Use this conference before completing the resource:

  • Is the file new or has it been corrected to resolve the issue?

  • Is the student's full name correct?

  • Is the content readable and without cut-off pages?

  • Is the document in Portuguese?

  • Is the condition or diagnosis described?

  • Is there an ICD-10 or description of the diagnosis, as per the applicable documentation?

  • Does the document contain the professional's signature and identification?

  • Does the professional registration or identification of the competent body appear?

  • Is the need for the specific resource demonstrated?

  • Is the format PDF, PNG or JPG?

  • Is the file up to 2 MB?

  • Was the right document attached, without exchanging files?

  • Did the system confirm completion of the resource?

  • Was the protocol or receipt saved?

Documents for specific situations

In addition to the general requirements, some conditions have their own rules.

Situation What to check out
Autism spectrum disorder The student can present the Identification Card for a Person with Autism Spectrum Disorder, with legible front and back.
Dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD or mental disorder A statement or opinion may be presented that identifies the student, describes the condition and is signed by a health professional or competent professional.
Breastfeeding The birth certificate of the child up to one year of age on the date of the test or document proving pregnancy must be attached.
Additional time The document must describe the need for additional time to carry out the assessment.
Companion room The opinion must justify the need for the presence of a companion.

These requirements must be compared with the individual situation and with the full text of the notice. The list functions as a conference tool, not as a replacement for official guidance or the assessment of the professional responsible for the document.

Errors that can weaken the resource

Inep did not publish, in the sources consulted, a statistical list of the most frequent reasons for rejection. However, reading the requirements allows you to identify flaws that the student should avoid:

  • resend the same document without correcting the pending issue;
  • attach a photo that is blurred, dark or with parts cut out;
  • send a file that does not identify the student;
  • present document without signature or professional identification;
  • use a statement that mentions the condition, but does not demonstrate the need for the requested resource;
  • forgetting the specific justification for additional time or companionship;
  • attach a file in an incompatible format or above the 2 MB limit;
  • exit the system without confirming that the procedure has been completed;
  • wait until the last few minutes, when a connection failure may prevent sending.

The notice states that Inep is not responsible for requests not received due to technical problems, communication failures or other factors that make data transfer impossible. This rule makes it especially important to perform the appeal early and check the final status.

What to do if the system has an error

If access or sending fails:

  1. check the connection and refresh the page;
  2. exit and re-enter the Enade System;
  3. confirm the file format and size;
  4. try another trusted browser or device;
  5. record screenshots with the error message, date and time;
  6. look for Inep’s official service channels;
  7. inform the course coordinator, without sharing your password.

The coordination can help clarify the student's status and academic procedures, but should not receive your password or replace the submission of the resource in the Enade System.

Screenshots and error reports do not automatically extend the deadline. Therefore, the student should not count on the possibility of sending the document later by email or other channel.

Timeline after appeal

Step Date
Preliminary result of the request July 31, 2026
Period to submit an appeal August 3 to 7, 2026
Resource result August 14, 2026
Consultation at the test site November 9 to 29, 2026
Application of Enade November 29, 2026

The Student Questionnaire remains scheduled from June 1st to November 29th, 2026. Completing the applicable obligations must be monitored separately, as the specialized assistance resource does not replace the other steps of Enade.

Frequently asked questions

Can I present the appeal with the same document previously sent?

The notice determines the insertion of a new document that proves the need for assistance. Therefore, re-uploading an unchanged file, especially when it contains the possible reason for denial, does not serve the purpose of the appeal.

Is ICD-10 always mandatory?

The general rule mentions the description of the diagnosis and/or the corresponding ICD-10 code. This means that the analysis should not be limited to the isolated presence of the code. The document must identify the student, adequately describe the condition and contain validation from the competent professional.

Can those who did not make the initial request use the appeal period?

The schedule separates the initial request, closed on July 24th, from the appeal against the result, open from August 3rd to 7th. Therefore, this period should not be treated as a general reopening for new orders.

How late can the resource be sent?

The deadline ends at 11:59 pm on August 7, 2026, Brasília time. As technical instabilities do not guarantee extension, the safest guideline is to complete the procedure before the final hours.

Where will the result be announced?

The consultation is scheduled for the Enade System on August 14, 2026. The student must re-enter the platform and check the recorded decision.

Priority action

Whoever received the denial must access the Enade System now, check the pending status, attach a new appropriate document and keep the protocol or receipt available. The resource will only be protected against forgetfulness and operational doubts when the student confirms that the system recorded the completion of the procedure.
