The announced deadline to submit work to the 10th Brazilian Environmental Education Forum (X FBEA) is September 30, 2026. Participation is handled through the event page on Even3, which provides registration and access to submission calls. Before sending a proposal, choose the appropriate format, read its call for submissions and check the requirements. The in-person event is scheduled for November 23–28, 2026, in Brasília, Federal District, under the theme “Environmental Education for Life” (“Educação Ambiental pela Vida”).
How to submit a proposal
- Visit the official X FBEA registration page and find the registration and submission options.
- Open the folder of calls linked by the organizers and read the document for your intended format, including authorship, structure and submission rules.
- Select the thematic area and format that fit the material you plan to present.
- Prepare the materials required by the call and verify authorship and contact details before completing the process on the platform.
- Check that the submission has been recorded and save any receipt or confirmation message provided by the system.
Important: the platform states that one work may be submitted per registration. If you intend to submit more than one, check the registration conditions and calls before proceeding. The Ministry's announcement gives the deadline date but not the closing time; do not assume submissions remain open until 11:59 p.m.
Who can take part
According to Brazil's Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA), the call welcomes different sectors of society interested in environmental education, including students, teachers, researchers, environmental educators, social movements, public administrators, communicators, representatives of traditional peoples and communities, and members of networks, collectives and civil society organizations. Applicants must still meet the conditions of the specific call they choose.
Submission formats and topics
The MMA describes three groups of formats: short courses and workshops; artistic, cultural and educational-communication expressions; and oral presentations and posters. Topics include formal and informal environmental education, educational communication, public policy, environmental and climate justice, grassroots struggles, participation, mobilization and social oversight, networks and territories.
Do not select a format by its name alone: check the corresponding call for eligible proposals, documentation and applicable criteria. The MMA's short announcement does not provide enough information to assert word limits, mandatory file types or presentation times for every format.
Checks before submission
- Deadline: September 30, 2026, for work submissions, according to the MMA notice published on September 25.
- Number of submissions: one work per registration, according to the event page.
- Specific call: consult the relevant document directly for registration, authorship, material format, assessment and presentation conditions.
- Registration and submission: verify on Even3 that you have completed the required step for your work; reading the program does not mean a proposal has been submitted.
- Confirmation: retain a record of your submission and check the platform for further notices concerning your proposal.
When and where the forum takes place
X FBEA is scheduled for November 23–28, 2026, in Brasília, Federal District. In addition to presentations, the MMA lists themed panels, thematic sessions, workshops, experience sharing, cultural activities, network gatherings and a solidarity-economy fair. The September deadline concerns work submissions and should not be confused with the dates of the event itself.
